Some of those on a Carnivore diet find it hard to make regular food with the limited ingredients specified in the diet, so they omit some foods.

But smart Carnivore diet recipes like this one will help you make many of your favourite foods out of the diet. How? Well, by changing the ingredients, we do the magic!

Here, for example, we’ll make Carnivore tortillas. These wraps don’t come from grains but from Carnivore-friendly ingredients.

These wraps/ tortillas can be the base for many of your favourite Carnivore dishes. You can also make a change in the Carnivore Diet Bacon Tacos with Egg for Breakfast recipe and use the wraps we’ll learn to make here.

Let’s jump into the recipe and see how we can make these yummy wraps.

How to Make Carnivore Wraps/ Tortillas for Beef and Bacon Tacos

  • 5 oz pork rinds
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tbsp ghee or butter (in the mixture) + some more for frying
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp sea salt

  1. Grind the pork rinds to get a fine powder (you can use a blender or food processor).
  2. Add the water, eggs, 1 tbsp ghee (or butter), and sea salt to the powder and blend. The batter should be smooth and liquid-like, not dense. If it looks too thick, add some water.
  3. Add a tsp of ghee (or butter) to a pan and place it over low-medium heat.
  4. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the pan.
  5. Let it cook for about 7 minutes, then flip it and give it 3 more minutes.
  6. When the tortilla is ready, set it aside to rest (you can put it on a paper towel).
  7. Repeat the four steps above until your pork rind powder is finished. Just make sure you remove the pan from the heat between each tortilla, as you don’t want the pan to get too hot.

You can use the tortillas to make chicken/ bacon/ beef tacos/ wraps and many other dishes!
